Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders Today

At Project Headway Lobelia School (PHLS), we believe that every student has the potential to lead—not just in the future, but now. Through our structured Student Leadership programme, we nurture confidence, responsibility, and initiative in our learners from an early age.

Our leadership opportunities are closely linked to the school’s Enrichment Programmes, particularly the Citizenship and Action streams. By participating in various roles, students learn to lead by example, listen to others, and make thoughtful, ethical decisions that benefit the whole school community.

Opportunities for Leadership Include

Class Captains & House Leaders – Elected student representatives who help coordinate classroom activities and school house events.

Environment & Cleanliness Monitors – Students who take initiative in promoting a clean, green, and sustainable campus.

Event Hosts & Cultural Ambassadors – Learners who take active roles in school programs, celebrations, and cultural presentations.

Library, IT, and Club Coordinators – Student helpers who support extracurricular and academic activities in structured roles.

Leadership Through Service

Our students also engage in community outreach, environmental projects, and peer mentoring—helping them build empathy, communication skills, and a deep sense of social responsibility. At PHLS, leadership is not a title—it’s a mindset. Through encouragement, guidance, and real responsibility, we prepare our students to become capable, compassionate leaders in their schools, families, and future professions.

"The ultimate goal of our education is to shape individuals who are physically healthy, intellectually sharp, emotionally mature, and morally responsible." Sharmin Sultana, the school manager.
